An Irish Dream in the Heart of Tuscany: Emma & Callum’s Wedding at Villa Cini
There is something truly magical about bringing a piece of Ireland to the rolling hills of Tuscany. Emma and Callum chose the breathtaking Villa Cini in Bucine for their destination wedding, and it was an absolute honor to capture every unforgettable moment.
Before diving into their day, it is impossible not to mention the sheer beauty of the venue. Villa Cini is a historic estate steeped in Tuscan heritage. Dating back to the late 17th and early 18th centuries, this classic Leopoldina-style villa originally served as a grand noble residence. With its original terracotta floors, ancient stone walls, and a majestic watchtower that looks out over the country, the villa perfectly blends rich historical charm with the rustic elegance of the Italian countryside.
The day began with an energetic buzz of anticipation. Emma spent her morning getting ready with her bridesmaids, sharing laughs, champagne, and a few emotional moments. Meanwhile, Callum and his groomsmen were in high spirits, adjusting ties, sharing a few jokes, and calming any pre-wedding jitters.
The symbolic ceremony took place in the villa’s spectacular garden, framed by a panoramic view of the endless Tuscan countryside. The celebration was officiated by the legendary Jo Bertolino from Tuscan Pledges, who, as always, crafted a ceremony that was deeply personal, warm, and filled with both tears and laughter.
Following the heartfelt "I dos," guests moved to the gardens for a relaxed and authentic Italian aperitivo. The air was filled with the aroma of typical Tuscan delicacies, paired perfectly with the ultimate wedding guest favorite: flowing glasses of bright orange Aperol Spritz.
Just as we were about to begin the portrait session around the estate, a relative of the newlyweds pulled off the ultimate surprise. They generously provided a stunning, exclusive Bentley sports car for the photo shoot! Sneaking away with Emma and Callum for their couple’s tour around the villa with the sleek Bentley and the golden Tuscan light as our backdrop was an absolute dream for photography.
After capturing some fun group photos with all their loved ones, it was time for everyone to take their seats for a traditional open-air dinner. The evening kicked off with the classic speeches—a wonderful mix of Irish wit, deep sentimentality, and beautiful tributes to the newlyweds. The dinner concluded with the traditional cutting of the wedding cake and a final, roaring toast.
But the night was far from over! The energy shifted seamlessly into the party of a lifetime. For their first dance, Emma and Callum took to the floor surrounded by a spectacular light show, accompanied by a dynamic live DJ and Saxophone that kept the dance floor packed and the energy electric.
A special thanks to Emma & Callum:
What can I say? I am truly honored to have been part of such a beautiful celebration. I hope that these photographs will serve as a timeless memory not just for Emma and Callum, but for everyone who was there to witness it, and for those who couldn't make it but were there in spirit.
My warmest wishes and congratulations to the beautiful couple!
Sláinte and Viva gli Sposi!
