Wedding Cortona, Arezzo, Tuscany, Italy

The movie “Under the Tuscan Sun” with Diane Lane made a lot of people around the world fall in love with Tuscany and Italy more in general (some scenes with the Italian actor Raoul Bova are set on the amazing Amalfi Coast), thanks to the great plot and the richness in beauty and atmosphere.

The biggest part of the movie is set in Cortona and its countryside, a lovely area in the Arezzo province, the same set chosen from Rachel and Stephen for their intimate, romantic “wedding under the Tuscan sun”.

After the preparation moments in one of the most beautiful Villas of the area, they reached a truly lovely small Church in Cortona and celebrated their wedding ceremony surrounded by their closest friends and family members.

After this, they enjoyed a walk through the ancient narrow streets of the town and its picturesque buildings and corners, then had their reception in a charming residence not far from Cortona.

Roses, sage, countryside flowers as small daisies and sunflowers were chosen for the bridal bouquet and the table’s décor, creating a warm atmosphere perfectly in accord with the Tuscan surroundings!
