A Tuscan Dream: Daphne & Ronnie’s Magical Wedding Weekend.
When Daphne and Ronnie chose Tuscany for their wedding, they weren't just picking a location; they were choosing an experience. Traveling all the way from the Netherlands, this wonderful Dutch couple brought their closest family and friends to the heart of Italy to celebrate their love.
Their destination of choice? The breathtaking Borgo Bucciano, nestled perfectly within the rolling, sun drenched hills of San Miniato. This historic estate is a true Tuscan jewel, boasting a majestic 17th century villa, a charming neo Gothic chapel, and a spectacular Italian garden with statue and rows of geometric hedges. Surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, it offered the perfect backdrop of summer warmth, incredible food, fine wine, and that unmistakable Mediterranean magic.
Here is the story of their unforgettable two day celebration.
Day 1: The Pizza Party & Pre-Wedding Sunset
The festivities kicked off the evening before the big day with a relaxed, joyful Pizza Party held under the estate's lovely terrace.
The star of the evening besides the happy couple was a master pizza chef. With expert hands and seemingly magical ingredients, he tossed and baked a variety of sensational, authentic Napoletan pizzas in a fired oven. As the warm summer breeze swept through the hills, the night came alive with:

Endless laughter echoing through the stone walles.
Great music and a completely relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
We captured our first photo session during this evening, catching the couple and their guests completely at ease, soaking in a perfect, sun-kissed Mediterranean night.
Day 2: The Grand Wedding Day
The big day arrived, radiant and full of anticipation.
The Preparations
The morning began with Daphne and Ronnie getting ready in their respective rooms inside the borgo. The air was filled with excitement, punctuated by that beautiful, classic touch of "big day" butterflies.
The emotional ceremony took place in the lush garden right in front of the main villa's entrance (Villa Lorenzi). Under the golden Tuscan sun, surrounded by their loved ones, Daphne and Ronnie listened to moving readings, exchanged their rings, and signed the marriage certificate, officially sealing their union.
While the guests moved on to enjoy a delightful Italian aperitivo, we slipped away with the newlyweds for their second photo session. We took a romantic stroll through the most picturesque, hidden corners of Borgo Bucciano, capturing the raw, tender emotion of their first moments as husband and wife.
Afterward, the party truly began! The crowd gathered at the loggia to enthusiastically welcome the couple for a magnificent dinner filled with incredible local cuisine and flowing wine.
As night fell, everyone moved to the historic Italian garden in front of the private chapel for the cutting of the wedding cake. With the estate beautifully lit, the celebration transitioned into an epic dance party powered by a fantastic DJ, where everyone danced the night away.
Everything was simply perfect, filled with pure enthusiasm and joy. What can I say? A marvelous place, wonderful people, and the hospitality of Borgo Bucciano was absolutely top-notch.
