Wedding at Poggibonsi & Antico Borgo San Lorenzo, Colle Val d’Elsa, Siena, Tuscany, Italy

The images published on this page tell the union of this fabulous couple from Northern Europe who decided to get married in the beautiful Tuscany.

We are north of Siena on the edge between Siena and Florence, very close to the most famous medieval city of San Gimignano.

This story is divided into two locations and two different ceremonies.

The first part took place with a civil ceremony in the municipality of Poggibonsi, in an intimate version with the presence of only the closest family members.

The photo shoot started directly in the town hall for the ceremony, at the end of the official part with the reading of the civil code and the signing of the register, a toast to celebrate the new couple and then to finish some photos in the town center.

The second part took place all in the pretty Antico Borgo San Lorenzo, located in the countryside just a few minutes from the center of Colle Val d'Elsa.

The photo shoot began in the village just after lunch with the couple's preparations, while today's ceremony is with an Orthodox rite and took place under an ancient outdoor stable, lovely setting in a very pleasant style.

At the end of the characteristic and intense ceremony a greeting to all the guests present, a few minutes break with a drink and then ready to move just outside the borgo for some photos in the countryside.

Back to the base some group photos and then ready to begins the party with dinner, speeches, cake cutting and first dance all in the splendid barn.
