Wedding at San Galgano & Tenuta di Papena, Chiusdino, Siena, Tuscany, Italy

Wedding at the Abbey of Saint Galgano, the wedding destination of today was a Cistercian Monastery found in the valley of the river Merse between the towns of Chiusdino and Monticiano, in the province of Siena, the region of Tuscany, Italy.

Presently, the roofless walls of the Gothic style 13th-century Abbey church still stand and for this is a very mystic place and full of charm, a great setting for a special wedding.

The photo shooting started at the Tenuta di Papena, not far from the Abbey, for the final part of the preparations before reaching the Abbey for the official civil marriage.

At the end of the ceremony some photos inside and outside the Abbey walls with even a stop before returning to the estate for some photos in the fields.

The rest of the evening continued with the cutting of the cake and first dance, everything took place surrounded by romantic and beautiful country-style lights.
