Aude and Philippe’s wedding day was one of those beautifully romantic days that feels almost too magical to be real. Their ceremony took place at the Comune di Tivoli, where a magnificent frescoed room provided the most beautiful backdrop as they exchanged their vows, surrounded by their lovely family. And then came the rain. A storm might have changed the plans, but it certainly didn’t change their spirit. Aude and Philippe were determined to make it to the Colosseum for their portraits, and looking back at these images, all we can say is: it was absolutely worth it. The rain gave Rome a cinematic atmosphere and made their portraits feel even more romantic (and the ultima pro: they got the Colosseum with no tourists). From the Colosseum, we continued to St. Peter’s Basilica and then to the Fontanone dell’Acqua Paola, wandering through a wonderfully rainy Rome. Everything was soo dreamlike. And a special kudos to Aude, whose dress was simply magnificent and looked even more beautiful dancing in the rain. Philippe was an equally wonderful groom, effortlessly elegant! But perhaps the most beautiful part of the day was the love surrounding them. A heartfelt thank you to their entire family for bringing so much warmth to the celebration. It was impossible not to feel it. A rainy day, a beautiful couple, their favourite people, and Rome at its most romantic. Thank youuu!
