Wedding at Volterra, Pisa, Tuscany, Italy

Today's wedding takes place in the beautiful and mysterious medieval city of Volterra, in ancient times it was one of the main city-states of ancient Tuscany (Etruria). This lovely couple from the United States decided to get married in a very truly special place.

The photo shoot began with the bride's preparations in an apartment not far from the main square, t the end of the preparations a nice surprise for everyone out of the door of the palace, a small procession of people in medieval clothes accompanied the bride and her entourage to the Palazzo dei Priori for the civil ceremony.

After the civil ceremony and all the official part with the signing of the register and etc..., all outside the palace to enjoy a small performance by historic and representative of medieval Volterra's flag-wavers.

Followed by an aperitif and a toast in a nice and rustic bar of the center and then ready for our small photo session with only the couple.

The evening continued with a dinner in a typical Tuscan restaurant near Piazza dei Prori
